oh, hey there. i'm laura.

i'm an experienced, collaborative marketer and wordsmith who understands how to engage, excite and convert customers. with experience in both start-up and enterprise — plus three acquisitions under my belt, i know what it takes to grow a brand. as an early employee and the first marketer at pardot, one of atlanta's most successful start-up stories, i've had the unique privilege of growing from an army of one to the leader of a team of a dozen talented marketers.

at suntrust, now truist, i serve in a strategic leadership role, bringing our purpose of lighting the way to financial well-being to life in our wholesale segment. supporting both b2b and b2c campaigns for momentum onup, i effectively position our workplace financial wellness platform to c-level and hr executives, and then engage their employees with awareness programs to grow our user base. i also partner with the product organization to create engaging content and experiences within our education platform. since 2017 we have helped more than 85,000 employees at 200+ companies take a step toward financial confidence.

prior to joining suntrust, i spent several years running the salesforce b2b marketing content strategy across lead generation, product marketing and thought leadership. as the creative hub of our team, we worked on digital and interactive projects that generate and mature opportunities. a true player-coach, i regularly created wide range of copy, including blog posts, e-Books, social media posts, digital ads, third party articles, video scripts, executive communications, presentations, and more.

i'm a writer at heart. i spent six years running the atlanta site on about.com (now TripSavvy), and a few covering food news for creative loafing. this means I'm a pro when it comes to all things atlanta, including the most lip-smackingly delicious restaurants, the best festivals, and all of the awesome neighborhoods. if you're headed down south, give me a shout!
